Madhya Pradesh becomes Bollywood's choice, film city will be made in three cities
The state is becoming Bollywood's choice because of the conducive atmosphere created for films in Madhya Pradesh. So the government is now also preparing to make Film City here. Due to which good films will be made in MP, tourism will also get a boost here.
MP Got Most Film Friendly State Award
It is to be known that the result of the increasing interest of the government and producers in films can be said that Madhya Pradesh has been given the Most Film Friendly State Award by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The state was awarded this award for the second time. Earlier in 2017, this award was given to Madhya Pradesh.
So far more than 150 films and web series have been shot in MP. The government is also giving many concessions to the producers to promote the shooting of films in the state.
Film city will be built in the hill of Shankargarh.
Under the information, construction of Film City is also proposed in Indore-Bhopal including Orchha, Raisen and Sehore. To attract filmmakers, a film city will be built on the Shankargarh hill located on the Dewas-Indore bypass. For this, Telefilms Mumbai has given a proposal of 150 crores to the MP government.
According to information, there is 77 hectares of land in Ninod village of Raisen district, adjacent to Bhopal. A proposal was made to make a film city here. Similarly, Orchha in Niwari district has 89 hectares of land. 167 hectares of land has been identified for Film City in Nonikheda village of Sehore.
In the year 2021, about 22 films, web series and short films were shot at different locations in Madhya Pradesh. Huma Qureshi's web series 'Maharani', film 'Chhori' and gangster Vikas Dubey's film have been shot.
Not only this, big films are also being prepared on the land of MP. Along with many films like 'Dirty Politics', 'Youngistaan', 'Yamla-Pagla-Deewana', 'The Valai', 'Merit List by Cast', 'Tevar', some popular serials have also been shot in Indore and Maheshwar. . Film director Anil Sharma himself has shot 'Singh Sahab the Great' in the picturesque valleys of Maheshwar and Bhopal.
It should be known that Madhya Pradesh will also get its benefit in terms of tourism. To promote the shooting of films in the state, the government has implemented 'Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy - 2020'.
