You can't be serious. Having a sub woofer is definitely a plus point in terms of audio and if you tweak the audio settings you can get a theatre like experience in this TV. If still you don't like the bass you have an option to turn of the sub woofer. So I don't understand how you had to make it look like it is a con. I have a 55inch tv and anyone considering to buy it under this budget should blindly go for this TV. I highly recommend it.

did you notice the banding because of memc? I bought the TV and after switching off motion smoothening I haven't noticed any banding. Also there is an option to switch off the subwoofer entirely. I have also noticed playing with the picture settings helps a lot, otherwise the colors look unnatural but after calibrating to your taste, it is absolutely perfect.

Banding in HDR content is due to the 8 bit panel. 10 bit panel is required for a better viewing experience especially in scenes with smooth color transitions like a sunset scene where there are many color gradients transitions ranging from red, orange, yellow etc.

I have purchased this tv and so far happy with it's performance. But there is one issue. While watching HDR like for example Rings of power, there is sometimes a glitch. For a fraction of a second the colors flip or the picture jumps suddenly. But only for a fraction of a second. For other formats the issue is not reproduced. Can anyone say if this could be a software issue or a hardware issue?

Sir my budget is Rs.55k. There are windows opposite the TV and I usually watch TV by sitting on the bed that is placed exactly opposite the TV. Currently I am having a Sony LCD TV and I can see reflections from the windows in its panel while watching the TV. So can you please suggest me a good 55 or 65 inch TV for this price range. I felt really satisfied when you declared sony x74k a much better tv than vu gloled (in terms of picture quality) as I just bought it today. For me picture quality is the first and foremost thing you should look for in a tv. I got a chance to view vu gloled and sony x75k together and I really saw the difference. Please confirm me that x74k and x75k has the same picture quality, the difference is just between motion flow technology. Thank you Vinnet sir for such reviews.

Yes x74k & x75k are one of the lower end models from Sony. It’s decent if you are primarily a casual TV watcher and just want a big TV that is 4K at a reasonable price. If you are a gamer or movie watcher, you’d want to look at the very least X85 or X90 since it does not support auto low latency mode and dolby vision.

Even if Sony x74k/x75k is a tad better than Vu gloled or any other budget category TVs in terms of picture quality it is not meant for ps5 users or gamers since it doesn't have important features like vrr, allm and also Dolby vision.

I use Sony x75 as monitor and it beats most 4k monitors. Sonys color optimization and motion handling is so good that Vu cannot compare. Vrr is mostly useless at 60 hz. Allm is basically if very little value to gamers. It's just sets TV on game mode when you plug console into it. You can do that yourself. But allm saves few seconds. Allm is something I feel console gamers don't need as console already have a lot of lag. As a PC gamer I need it only for multiplayer games.

What if I say HDR10+ is not mentioned as supported feature on Flipkart. In fact, If I mention Amazon or Vu's official website neither HDR10 nor HDR10+ mentioned as supported. Then what's the point of testing and criticising it?

It is mentioned in the official website, please check the spec sheet always for any TV from the company website instead of Amazon or Flipkart specs, Even for Sony x75L it has only 50 Hz refresh rate as per official sony website, however everyone claims 60 Hz.. I dont know what to say :)

Vu GloLed is definetly better in terms of picture quality i think. U may compare sceens of tonado 2.0 and Vu Glo Led of Gangubai and bhool bhulaiya movie of vineet reviews. Clarity in dark sceens is better on Vu GloLed, i just compared both. Huge difference.

Yes i also bought vu gloled And don't trust the picture settings he played while comparing with sony VUs colours are very vibrant ,i think he intentionally manipulated the settings I agree with him in some aspects viewing angles are not good and gray uniformity is bad and banding is sometimes visible when you take close view

This is super-helpful. I am confused between sony TV KD-65X75K vs toshiba 4K QLED TV (65M550).. both similarly priced (+- 10K) 65 inch TVs; sony's model is LED vs Toshiba's is QLED; sony Bravia engine and content upscaling seems to be better. It would be great if you can guide me- which one should I go for; I have a soundbar so difference in sound o/p is not an issue

hello sir i bought realme TV 32 inch as an trail and error, which went off in this rainy season in diwali in 2 years, before that i had and CRT TV of Sony which is running for more that 13 years, as i gave to some for use and it is still running so suggest me as Smart LED TV which will run longer and give some ideas for longer run of the TV. from that day I am on research and regularly watch u reviews.
