One of the most self proud moments of my childhood was when I beat this game. I remember the trick in the final race was to avoid the turbo boost jumps and you could fly right around Rocket Racer.

He must've been using a Pentium 2 or 1st gen AMD K6, which would've been pretty old at the time. My 800Mhz Slot 1 Pentium 3 at the time ran this game just fine, then again it was the best of what was available at the time. (Holy caleonies my grammar is bad tonight)

I'm dumb and didn't mark down when Joel mentions this, but early on (Somewhere between 20:00 and 40:00 I think) he mentions something along the lines of "Hey there aren't really any kart racers anymore". I'm sure some people in chat mentioned it, but just in case, I'll bring up that there's a really good kart racer called SRB2 Kart, which stands for Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart. Maybe not the best title, but regardless, it's arguably better than some of the BEST Mario Kart games out there. It's made in the original DOOM engine, which allows for lots of modding potential, so while it's _technically_ Sonic the Hedgehog themed, literally any character can be included, so it's like the Super Smash Bros of Kart Racers. I wanna say Vinny played it at some point, but I don't remember if I ever saw that VOD if he did. But I think Joel might like it. And since it's a fangame, it's completely free to download and play! Which means it's easy for viewers to join in too.
