@WinterOnYT its true since dudes usually don't want to play girly games unless its something like bayonetta or skullgirls, which aren't really 'girly', they just happen to have girls. Not that this is most guys' fault, but that's just the way things were in the 2000's and before. A guy couldn't talk about Petz Horseshoe Ranch at the lunch table when other boys were playing Zelda Majora's Mask, and that's not his fault, that's just that others would consider him uncool or gay for being interested in a 'girly' horse game or something. There's some exceptions to this like I think we all know Kirby, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, and the Wii Sports games all had a pretty good gender split, but they were more gender neutral and not 'girly' in the way Super Princess Peach seems. Cooking Mama is the outlier and I'm not sure how so many guys played that game, but I'm also surprised even girls played that game because the gameplay was kinda repetitive ngl. Another thing is, with Super Princess Peach you can tell the gamer reviews are pretty biased and not really accurate. I think IGN described the game as something like 'too easy', which it is DEFINITELY NOT lol. Without a proper stylus you were in for hell for some levels. So a lot of the reviews write off the game's actual playability for the reason that the game is 'made for women'.

I've always wanted the traditional mario series to just do some wacky shit like SMW Rom hacks do, and Wonder looks like a step in the right direction. By now I'm kind of bored of the simplistic mario level design, so I'm interested to see what they do with it as it looks pretty inspired.
