@@dreyri2736 The song was made a meme from the mario galaxy repainted, and well the creator of that was an old friend but then suddenly went all mad and accused vinny of some sexual stuff, it was obviously fake since the "proof" that he got was from a day and hour where he was streaming lmao, but the damage was done for a while, even if most people just saw that it was obviously fake. So yeah that hurt Vinny since it was an old friend, and it's why he stopped streaming for a while and started doing some things pre-recorded

I'm sorry Vinny ended up buying a Lenovo. I had an awful experience buying one where in they let people upgrade to windows 10 without telling them that would basically brick their computer. Later, it came out that those same laptops had root-kits installed on them at the factory so Lenovo could gather marketing information on people in secret. This lead to a huge security breach as tons of people had their data stolen. When questioned about it, the president of the company said he didn't think it would be a big deal since "most people didn't know what a root-kit was anyway." Your battery sound faulty and they are trying to stone wall you imo. If it's running windows, you could look at battery details to see which apps are sapping your energy. In the short term turning down the brightness might help.

i unironically think some egglikes have the potential to become some of the best 3d platformers of the past decades. they're unbound by industry standards, low barrier of entry (no 3d modeling, bare coding knowledge necessary, etc) I really hope Vinny hosts a competition for egg-likes where the focus is not just to make something that's expendable and just funny for the stream, but above all else, actually a good platformer, maybe the market can get flooded with fun egg-likes, like how joels doom competition gave birth to many extremely high quality wads.

Advertised battery lifetimes in most electronics are effectively lies because the numbers are generated based upon a minimal power settings scenario usually. Things you can do to somewhat reduce power use is to dim the backlight, lower power settings and accept that you'll lose some performance doing so, or you can get advanced on many devices and start undervolting stuff and downclocking it - which will lose a good chunk of performance but can sometimes be decent battery gains. All that said, try the easy stuff first like turning the backlight down and stuff like that as the screen is one of the largest power draws in many smaller devices. Oh and disable Bluetooth/wifi when not in use as they still drain power when on even if inactive.

17:39 Vinny buys a garbo laptop for $400 Vin, you should have got a MSI GF Series GF63 Thin 11SC-693, it's about $600, and it's a pretty decent gaming laptop (it's my first real *GAMER* laptop) I've had 2 laptops prior to this one. A handmedown from me Uncle John eons ago (it had a giant crack in the corner of the monitor, and like 2 years later it failed to boot.) And 2 years ago, I got a crappy used 2015 office laptop for around $200 as a backup PC (which came in handy when my last desktop PC started being an extra unstable jerk.) The worst thing about the MSI gaming laptop, is it's small 256GB SSD, and that it comes with Windows 11. I just installed Win 10 on it, and stuck a 500GB SSD in there and bam, good to go. For reference on how powerful the laptop is, I did a playthrough of Prey 2017 to test it, and it ran it pretty flawlessly on medium settings, at 1280 x 720 resolution. Just run them more demanding games at 720p, you're not gonna need massive resolution for it's not exactly huge monitor.
