Man this whole stream was a amazing. I've been watching Vinesauce on youtube and the past broadcasts on twitch for awhile, but this was the first whole stream I stayed for live the whole way. From Glitch Life to Majora's Mask. Great stream, great stream. Also these F-Zero corruptions were some of the best N64 corruptions I've seen. Next to Mario 64 and Majora's Mask of course. The bits with the corrupted tracks were the best. I really think it would be neat to have something like that bundled with an officially released game...

You don't have to innovate a lot with unique hardware features and crap, Nintendo. Just add new courses, maybe a fancy mechanic if you're really feeling it, and give us online and HD graphics with optional motion controls for all five people who enjoy them. Oh, and 30-man multiplayer races, with or without bots.

I actually used the old Vinesauce ROM Corrupter for these. After working with this game for like a month, I am fairly certain that you could corrupt any game successfully as long as you know which byte range to corrupt.

***** I made these corruptions like a year ago, so I used the Vinesauce ROM Corruptor with Project 64. I would still recommend you use RTC for corruptions as you don't have to restart the emulator with every corruption and you can store them easily. It also comes with the VSRC and VineCorrupt so you don't really need to use RTC but there are tutorials on youtube for it and its actually fairly easy to use.

fun fact, some N64 games (tbh, i only found that segment only in expansion pak enabled games) have a block of code which defines the graphics. if you fiddle around in it, you can have some psychedelic times. you can even increase the texture mapping, but if you do that, you will see weird results. Get some memory editor and look for a string called PCODE. try changing values either above or below that string. it's a pretty big memory block.

to bad n64 emulation is still shit. I would just get the newest dolphin dev build and just play n64 games on the virtual console. emulation is WAYYYYYY better if you have a really good gaming pc.
