Tldr; AKIRA was animated on 24fps but that's not much a feat in animation, cus everything ran on 24fps, what made it so good was actual good animation from the animators, not it's framerate. 26:40, most animated tv/films was animated at 24 fps, but most anime and shows were done on a concept called "On Ones (twos, threes, fours ect)" the bigger the number, the "slower" or laggy the film looked. That means how long a specific drawing sits on a frame on a film strip. Ie, on Twos means you have a film strip, 24 squares kthe frames) in them, A single drawing sits on a frame twice before moving on to another drawing, do this a few more times you technically do get a 12fps framerate but the strip or film reel itself is still pretty much running at 24fps. (theres a lot of funny math for this. but its why 12fps On Ones can be converted to 24fps On Twos) Animators have their own style too, so it varies on when a sequence gets to be done on ones. it also depends on making it feel as natural as possible, meaning it doesn't have to be On Ones, cus two smooth is too uncanny or even unrealistic depending on the subject. AKIRA was 24fps however it flipped between being on Ones Twos and Threes, what made it so sleek was its great use of Timing, Spacing, consistency between keys and tweens and all other sorts of 12 Principles Stuff. Anime and animation in general was done on 24fps regardless so that animators have enough frames to flip flop between being On Ones Twos Threes ect regardless if it was film or tv. Fikm nimation usually gets to be fully on ones though. AKIRA is so visually good cus there was some talented people behind it (and maybe time). sorry for the essay I am an animation nerd

I would echo the Chatyot member who suggested keeping a dream journal. Doing so will actually strengthen your dream recall, so you'll remember them more vividly and more often. Also, probably more convenient if you just dictate your dreams to voice memo app rather than type/write them down, since the details of a dream start to decay rapidly upon waking up and dictation will help solidify more details more quickly. (Unless you're obscenely fast at typing on your phone keyboard, I guess, but most people aren't stenographers and speak more quickly than they type.)
