Unfortunate that this was a little rushed because of the Red Vox premiere(which ruled), but compulsively watching the real clock simultaneously with the countdown timer in "War!", and especially during the "Falling Tower of Pizza", was pure, palpable tension. That combined with finishing the game EXACTLY on time was an exhilarating and irreplicable experience. I love how the ost track in that last stage just builds and builds, climaxing with that final zany straight race to the exit. Great stuff.

Don’t Make A Sound is the best level in a game already chock-full of best levels. I love the dreary sax and Hurry Up synths in its music, the designs of the animatronics being these Fake Peppino-styled Toppins is perfect, and it even communicates its lore through flyers on a wall- just like the OG FNAF! Fun sort of display against the more consumerist-driven pizzerias Peppino’s trying to overthrow, too, the pizza treasure belonging to this level is a nice touch in that regard. It’s a reference that both respects the source material and twists it into something entirely new and feral. Just like how Pizza Tower has evolved so much from its Wario Land 4 foundations that it’s kinda become its own Wario/Sonic/Jackrabbit hybrid. It identifies as adrenaline.

I've been waiting for Vinny to play Pizza Tower since the demo in 2018 and he delivered in spades, kinda surreal watching him beat the game. This game is incredible. There's not a single bit of dialogue uttered, and everything is told through an opening sequence, environmental storytelling, and character design. That's a feat that Half-Life perfected 25 years ago. Seeing Peppino echo the player's sentiment about a boss rush is how every boss rush should be done. Also, the soundtrack is incredible.
