I don't like the term butt rock tbh, because it kinda demeans the whole point of defining a genre, and like it can be interpreted in many ways since some people can consider Tenacious D to be butt rock and others may consider Grunge music to be butt rock. It's like saying "heavy metal" to bands like Van Halen and AC/DC, or just thinking anything that sounds a little dark or loud to be "heavy metal". Plus it just feels dirty to say those terms because usually when people use those terms, they are usually referring to how they don't like the overall sound or genre of that kind of music.
