Dangit, Vinny's another one of those people who think Mario punches Yoshi in the head If you actually looked at the artwork in the manual, it's clearly shown that Mario is just pointing towards what Yoshi should be eating with his tongue. Unfortunately, the sprite artists didn't very clearly define Mario's hand very well in that one pose. There is one lighter pixel on his hand that probably is supposed to be the outstretched finger, though
