Rondo of Blood wasn't localized. They just dumped the Japanese version onto the Wii Shop with no changes, labelled it as an "import" and made it more expansive than other Turbographx16 Virtual Console games. Meanwhile, Dracula X Chronicles on the PSP had Rondo of Blood fully localized as an unlockable bonus.

IIRC, they hated it so much that Episode 2 was never put on WiiWare (can’t remember what system it did reach) and Episode 3 never got made. First impressions sunk that trilogy before it even really had a chance to get of the ground.
