This reminds me, I work at my local veteran's home and on the floor I used to clean, there was this one guy who's completely bedridden; the man's got Parkinson's and arthritis and can hardly move a muscle but is somehow the best Wii Bowling player I've ever seen. The walls in his room were lined with pictures he took of his perfect games, it was crazy.

I wasn't there when he asked, but I recorded and translated the morse code when he flew near the lighthouse and it said: "DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW MORSE CODE? SORRY USE YOUR RADIO" He talked over the second part so I had to check other people's videos to get the rest of it. There's apparently a few other possible messages: WHY DOES ANYONE USE MORSE CODE ANYMORE? GOOD QUESTION. MORSE CODE TAKES FOREVER. IT SURE DOES. I appreciate that these devs at least got the rhythm between dots and dashes (3 dots = 1 dash) correct so that it's accurate and understandable

@@DarkBowser64 Eh, I doubt that's it here; my laptop (ThinkPad W530 from 2014) does fine (mostly) with the same emulator, the only slowdowns occurring when other shit in Windows decides to fuck with my system, and the only other issue is occasional corrupted Wiimote noise,so I doubt his streaming machine would have a problem with it

I'm probably wrong, but I feel almost certain that vinny was not playing showdown the way you're supposed to. You cannot just play it sitting down with small movements in your wrist, the wii really needs you to be standing and swinging with your entire arm. Without that full arc, I'd imagine the wiimote gets very easily confused with where where you are relative to the wiimote.

In my experience, you're sort of forced to point the Wiimote at the center of the screen and do wrist flicks because the AI in higher ranks of Duel and Speed Slice are too fast for your full-arm swings to not register as false positives when changing slice angles. I know he was just playing Showdown, but just throwing my 2 cents in

Dunno about other places, but from honolulu at least: yeah nah preserved shark pup in a jar as an article of furniture is kind of horrifying at best. I have no idea what's supposed to be nostalgic or cool about that perpetual, built-in frown or that glassy, vacant stare coming at you from the just barely too small jar filled with some gross blue barber-shop comb disinfectant liquid the poor thing is suspended in. Just get a shitty keychain if you're already buying some sleazy tourist-trap souvenir, because at least then you won't look like some kind of serial killer with an animal torture dungeon in your basement. We already made Jaws, we don't need to further torment the sharks that don't filter feed or scavenge.

Vinny often talks about not restreaming things, but somehow Zelda and RE4 always make a comeback. I'd love for him to revisit Guns of the Patriots or Phantom Pain.
