Josh Potts It's weird tho alot of the guys who u could argue are better are mainly pass rush oriented so if u go by just sacks or something of course Ray isn't the best then but middle of the field straight up tackling and leading a defense its hard to argue imo. Add longevity of 17 years to Lts 13 and that Raven defense the entire time he was around was nasty. Still kinda is from the impact he had. 17 tackles at the age of 39 at the broncos in a playoff game.. ridiculous. It's just an opinion thing tho to me it's those three u have for sure just varied orders
@joshpotts63168 жыл бұрын
***** Ray isn't better as far as stats, and sacks go. They didn't record tackles in Taylor's era or he would have way more. Ray Lewis is top 3 all time, and arguably top 2. Ray had 42 sacks in 17 seasons. Lawrence had 133 sack in 13 seasons. Ray never dominated entire games the way LT did. How is Ray a better LB than the guy many say is the greatest player ever
@joshpotts63168 жыл бұрын
***** I agree! That's why I have Ray at 2nd! Taylor was just a freak. Taylor is widely considered the most dominant player in NFL history regardless of position. Ray Lewis, John Lynch, and Roy Williams were my 3 favorite defensive players growing up!

He wears 52 because when he was a kid his mother was always getting beat brutally and he would always ask for a deck of cards. Everyday he would take the deck of cards and take one and flip it, and however many numbers were on that card (Ace = 25, Joker = 50, King, Queen and Jack = 10) he would use it to correspond to how many push-ups, or sit-ups he would do until he was done. He counted up the deck of cards and wears 52 because that's how many cards are in a deck.

I'm from Baltimore, a die hard Ravens fan and I love Ray Lewis. He is undoubtedly the greatest _middle_ linebacker of all time. That said, the greatest linebacker of all time is also the greatest defensive player of all time and you could easily make an argument for the greatest _football_ player of all time and that is Lawrence Taylor. It's not even close. Those not old enough to have watched LT can't understand. Forget defensive backs, he made catches that wide receivers can't make. The story goes, he was in his 9th season the first time one of the Giants safeties outran him in practice. There will never be another LT.

I 100 percent believe this man was thee best linebacker of all time, as a Steelers fan I can at least say that we had some overall better defenses. But there was no better rivalry then when ray Lewis the ball hawk and the ravens D matched up against Troy, Harrison and the second steel curtain (lol). True football right there!

Ray Lewis was the greatest linebacker to ever step on the football field..not only was he physical.he was well organized and had great timing and always most of the time out thinked his opponent.Ray Lewis was the perfect linebacker and backed it up on the field.He was the grandmaster of all linebackers of all time.Physical/Smart/Good Chemistry/Good Timing.He made Baltimore a great football city again and after what the colts did to Baltimore after relocating to Indianapolis.He healed their pain and put the love of football back in Baltimore.He was the best.

Best MLB , EVER. I don't know how many times I thought he literally killed fools out there. 2000 Ravens were the best D ever as well, and Ray was the engine. How many times in history could you say once we score a fg or td its over? That D was just getting rolling in the playoffs. The Giants scored on special teams that SB. They were absolutely DOMINATED by the Raven D. The Ravens D outscored the Giants. It wasn't a system, they just played base D and ate teams alive. Oh you gonna roll with 4 wide, no worries, here's our base D. Greatest ever. The only other D that resembled them was the Legion of Boom.

Ok...video aside, let's put this murderer crap to rest people: Initially charged with murder, no evidence. Then charged with obstruction and then perjury. In other words, he didn't snitch...and sat in jail for a year because he didn't. Obstruction and perjury is NOT...I repeat...NOT murder. At this point I think that the only people who still say that crap about him are either just salty about their own worthless existence or just trolls...or maybe both. Now, back to the video. Excellent work. I just subscribed and will check out more...keep up the great work. And by the way... Ray Lewis...GOAT. And that's coming from someone old enough to see LT and Singletary as the games happened and not just on a KZbin video.
