I've always loved watching this guy play, I'm a big Alabama fan so I never missed a game during his college days. I haven't seen much of him since he went pro just cause I don't watch the NFL, I never have watched it even when I was a kid except a few games here and there. I'm just a big Alabama football fan and that's it, but I'm glad to see he's still kicking ass in the NFL. He was my favorite running back since I first seen him play, he's just a straight up beast!! He called HOF Titan Eddie George for advice and Eddie told him that he needed to start imposing his will on defenses. Unfortunately for Marcus, ESPN did an AMAZING documentary on him, "The Best that Never Was" 😪 highlighting the devastating knee injury 😢, which derailed his glorious NFL projected career, in addition to conflicts with Barry Switzer. It is amazing to me how quickly people forget or turn. Like how somehow one injury is all it took, the man was done. It doesn't really shine a positive light on we humans memory and common sense. The man was leading the league in rushing (what do you know? ) when he broke his foot and yet if you were to go by what most people were saying the King had to give up his throne. The man was on pace to not only for another 2,000 yard season (back to back I might add) but was actually on pace to break the record. He still finished in the top 10 in yards despite missing over half the games LOL. It didn't take him to long to make it very clear to every doubter and hater out there that the King still reigns and he will let us all know when he's ready to give it up. I think there is a big confusion for many people who may not watch all of his games, they see big, powerful bruiser of a back and assume he must be destroying his body and taking big hits. But that's the thing that sets him apart. He can run through you but uniquely for his size he can run around you and more importantly he is so deceptively quick that defenders don't often get straight up clean shots on him, not that they really want to anyway. That's more than a business decision that's a life decision and usually guarantees being immortalized on a highlight reel forever (Josh Norman and Earl Thomas). Henry could retire tomorrow and he would already have done enough to be inducted in the Hall of Fame. This is no gimmick back or part of a duo. He doesn't have a QB that gives any team anything to worry about and nowhere near an elite O-line and yet he does what he does. Everyone in the stadium and at home knows he's getting the ball, he faces more loaded boxes than anyone else and yet year after year he leads the league. In sports there are some players who should never wear another jersey and Henry is one of those.

King Henry has been a beast. Took my Fantasy Football team in the 2020 season to the playoffs. Definitely has the chance to go down as one of the greatest running backs ever. He has the size (230-260 lbs), strength, agility and speed. It has been a pretty dangerous combo. He is unreal. Can't think of any other RB that I would rather have. I never comment but Derrick Henry lived in the same town that I moved to I grew up in Jacksonville Florida and Derrick Henry grew up in Yulee Florida which Jacksonville if you keep driving turns into Yulee! I have a good relationship with him because well let me start it off 37 years old so I'm a lot older but in Middle School the local football team tried to raise money for New Gear and shoes footballs basically everything you need to play football and to practice and not only did my dealership sponsor his middle school team. I donated a check of $75,634 is what it cost I had to buy I believe 16 new footballs all new cleats all new pads all new complete gear and I had the football field re-sodded so it had fresh turf cuz it was terrible I had both field goal post replaced because one of them was in good shape but the other one was rusting around the bottom and it was leaning and we had to tear down the old bleachers because they were rotten and replace them with new aluminum bleachers which end up costing around $26,000 each! Plus I gave all of of the parents a $250 gas card so they can get the boys to practice without having to worry about where they're going to get gas money from. he wasn't going to play football he was going to switch to basketball because the basketball team had everything they needed the football team didn't. So high school comes around and I sponsor the team again and let me make this clear I know how it feels to have nothing and now I own Prestige Imports in South Florida which is the largest exotic car dealership in Florida and it's the second largest exotic car dealership in the world that is self-owned! I keep between 300 the 325 exotic cars ranging from $80,000 all the way up to 4.3 million dollars. my name is Brett David but anyways I did the same thing for the high school team witch it only consisted of buying all new uniforms all new pads knees and 10 footballs and we did replace the bleachers well excuse me we didn't replace the whole bleacher we just re did all new seats and everything but anyways I'm proud to call Derek a good friend of mine and much little brother and it's funny cuz he always looked up to me because course I had to exotic cars the Lamborghinis and everything but look now he inspires me! he has been driving me crazy see this is my personal Channel I have a business channel that has over 200k subscribers but I don't use it to comment with because I don't want trolls putting bad reviews or saying a bunch of bullcrap on my channel and I use for business but anyways he's driving me crazy to buy my 1 of 300 made 2 door drop top Maybach and actually they only ended up making 114 and only 29 made it to the United States! plus they only made three of this color and yes the car is on this channel if you want to see it! everybody have a blessed day and have a safe and happy New Year I apologize if some of the words are off I'm voice texting stuck in traffic with that being said I want to use my small platform to say this real quick let's put a stop all the stupidity when it comes to judging a man by the color of his skin and look at it like this you don't judge one of your favorite athletes, musicians or actors that's a different race so if you can cheer for or buy music or watch movies of a man or woman from a different race and enjoy the movie and what they do in life that means you can treat everyone the same way as you do the famous ones you have no problem with him being a different color so why should you have a problem with an ordinary person being a different color we are all brothers and sisters no matter if you like it or not and the government wants to divide us because they know if we multiply nothing can stop us.🙏💯☝❤ sorry if some of the words are off once again voice texting
