I think it goes with the territory of "loosening up" or "making yourself more vulnerable" I remember streams more then a decade ago where Vinny was a "hardass" that didn't blink let alone scream at jump scares. Could be that games have more effective jump scares now but I tend to think it's just Vinny being open and having more fun these days!
