The bodies of the living carrots are then fed to the astral horse who then defecates into the spring-loaded mold which is held in place by the worker. The mold is decompressed to reveal the singing piles of horse manure. The largest pile will then birth the melpert, who is nurtured with the beads from the start of the cycle, and it repeats again. This has been “how its made; melperts, bison, and carrot men”

I’m not even kidding I actually saw this game being presented in person through a friend of mine who invited me. So you think this is weird? Imagine how weird it is being around 25 or so other people who have no idea about weird shit like this 😂. Anyways, I met the creator and he was a really kind guy. I believe he said the meaning behind it was just sort of having an environment that essentially is self sufficient in its own cycle. I’m not really sure if I remember him saying there was any deeper meaning, but he may have left it up to interpretation. Least to say, it’s fucking surreal seeing it in a small room first and then seeing Vinny play this lmao

I see. Humans have tampered with the balance of nature, which had everything in its right place. In order to continue our survival, we must restore the balance rather than continuing to pursue infinite growth. It's not sustainable. The whole reason life itself worked at all is because of the balance and cycles it developed on its own.

It felt like it was referencing ideas from reincarnation. This idea of being trapped in this automatic cycle you can't escape from, and even if you do another human will take your place. Human head gains stuff from ghosts - spirituality and wisdom of the past - Human head wakes up and melts the animalistic desires and drives he had to keep going. Human head ascends from the cycle of the factory in the birds body. What's left is returned to the cycle. The cycle process the fruits of his physical world - baby head literally dropping fruit - into something that will feed new life. New life is trapped in the cycle. The two parents toil and produce the wisdoms and subject of their life. Baby attempts to grow and ascend with what he's given. But fails, he merely repeats the cycle by becoming the bird that will become processed. What left blossoms into harvestable fruits but it's sad. Representing material attachment and troubles that come with them - aka more money more troubles. Can also represent material grief or attachments left behind such as ideas - The material and ideas are cut apart, harvested and fed back into the system - we do things to increase the means we do things - The carrots are in a human head so that is the ideas and woes left being fed into the ethereal force of the world - time and energy- until nothing is left. The processed fertilizer IS the people, before they leave their body. They sing a lovely song representing life and its struggles. The soul or consciousness is released. The cycle repeats. "Bob was growing bored of his container" at least. That's my - admittedly pretentious - understanding of what I was seeing.

To me, this feels like a condemnation of industry as a whole, but through a different lens than what we’re normally used to seeing. It’s like what Slot Waste is trying to say is that the “industry” has hijacked nature and all things living. The bird is lured out with processed feed, only to condition its body to produce grapes. Juicing grapes into pitiful servings, because you only need so much to lure out the dog. Feed the horse with processed foods, not to keep it healthy, but rather to collect its excrement. Not one natural entity is allowed to simply exist by itself anymore. Everything needs to be contained, controlled, processed, packaged, and distributed. Nothing is safe from this fetishized perception of utility, not even waste.

This was a story, one I had no idea what was going on, but a story nonetheless. The lack of sound really did make this segment feel like a fever dream, one that you can’t describe with words without understating the whole experience. Yet in the end, with the angelic choir of the heads made of horse shit, and the cycle being formed once more, it felt cathartic in a way. But in the end, we had all learned one thing, and that is we all still have PTBD(Post Traumatic Bob[the blob] Disorder) and will continue to have it, even Vinny. The slowed down audio of bob the blob with the aforementioned fever dream-esque really was something.
