in the Netherlands we celebrate "Sinterklaas" and that something completely different than Christmas! the thing you tried where sinterklaas figures. made out of chocolate. Something that is very typical for "Sinterklaas" is also "pepernoten". You should try them!

Yippeeee as a Russian subscriber I was so happy to see the first treat you tried (pryaniki)!! They’re often very sweet and I think that’s why some Russians don’t like them (at least I didn’t like them exactly bc of that) BUT ! The best pryanik is probably the Tula pryanik that looks like a brick and has an embossed picture on top. It has such a nice flavor of honey and cinnamon and other spices aahhh. I love the one with fruity filling or apple, there’s also one with condensed milk inside (not the regular one but more like caramel-ish) Anyway, it would be so awesome to see you and Naomi try Russian treats if you haven’t filmed a video like this yet :”) ❤

actually that first candy is russian! it’s called пряники (pryaniki), and it is usually just ginger bread/cookie sprinkled with some sugar powder and sometimes with specific fillings in it💗💗💗

Well Fazer has really yummy christmas chocolates like your classic gingerbread, julia (marmalade filled dark chocolate), winter edition almond chocolate, wiener nougat, fazerina which is not specifically christmas but it's one of my favourites! 🥰 Coming from someone who also doesn't like super sweet candies, this whole video is just very relatable lol

I’m really curious about that two faced flavour 😅 Juleskum is just strawberry flavoured santa figurines, kinda marshmallowy 😊 somebody might have said it already tho. Oh wait now you opened - Anyway that’s the original 🙃 Plopp usually have a suuuuper sweet caramel filling. I’d recommend Marabou ! Amazing chocolate with loads of add ins to choose from ! I recommend orange crisp~ 🍊

The "Sintfiguurtjes" are Dutch. In the Netherlands we do celebrate Christmas, but before that we also celebrate: "Sinterklaas". On 5 december, its: "pakjesavond". Then you get some presents, in a bag on your front door. Sometimes people get presents on Sinterklaas and on Christmas, but sometimes people only celebrate with presents on 1 of them.

I immediately thought of Christmas beer from my country, Ukraine. Yes, it's not a sweet, but it's a treat and it is such a seasonal staple! Try this: :D LEMON TRUFFLES Ingredients: * 1 cup white chocolate chips * 2 tablespoons unsalted butter * 1/4 cup heavy cream * Zest of 2 lemons * 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice * 2 cups powdered sugar * Yellow food coloring (optional) * Lemon zest or yellow sprinkles for decoration (optional) Instructions: 1. In a heatproof bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and butter. 2. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and butter mixture. Let it sit for a minute to melt the chocolate, and then stir until smooth. 3. Add the lemon zest and lemon juice to the chocolate mixture, stirring well. 4. Gradually add the powdered sugar, stirring continuously, until the mixture is smooth and well combined. If you want a more vibrant yellow color, you can add a few drops of yellow food coloring. 5. Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours or until it’s firm enough to handle. 6. Once the mixture is firm, use your hands to roll small portions into truffle-sized balls. If the mixture is too sticky, you can dust your hands with powdered sugar. 7. Optional: Roll the truffles in additional lemon zest or yellow sprinkles for a decorative touch. 8. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes before serving.
