I have one like this and I use it a lot.For small areas or small lawns it is the best. It cuts great, very easy to start and you can get into tight places with it. It's not heavy. I am always worried something will go wrong with it that won't be fixable. We very often don't get better stuff manufactured for us and I can't figure out why.

I had one of these. It was in the basement of a house I bought. It was in great shape. Gave it to a friend. Wish I had it back. The belts had teeth and so did the pully's. It seemed to run at a high RPM.

Usually the blades would be turning around 7200 RPM while the motor itself is running around 3600 RPM.

I have exactly the same mower - found it in the garage of a house I bought 10 years ago. I turned it on once, but it was incredibly noisy. Probably needs oil and/or a tuneup.

For those of you that don't know, during the mid 1980s the Sunbeam twin-blade (then branded Mastercut) model 4318 was also sold to Simplicity dealers as the model 1318.

The RE-18C is most likely the red one. It was made from January 1957 to July 1958.

Anyone know where to get the 47-81752 belts for these mowers?
@ClassicTVMan1981X13 жыл бұрын
@hymen1847 I doubt if he wants to sell it... these are rare birds now. I have a 1983 Sears Craftsman twin-blade electric mower and have no intention to part with it due to its obscurity of parts.
