Another great video John. I'm waiting for this channel to blow up! Keep the videos coming and it will surely happen.

Need more videos like this and less reels. ;) Seriously love the reels but this stuff lives forever. The reels are gone never to be seen again

Out-of-phase is a really cool sound, and better than the usual dual humbucking sound in my opinion. I have a 355 stereo and it is out of phase in Fender amps with reverb, and in phase, in an amp like a Showman. Strat positions 2 and 4 really are not wired out of phase, if so, they would be much thinner sounding. It is just some weird frequency cancellation due to proximity! Strange, for sure. The early Telecaster wiring design did have the PUPs wired out of phase in position two.

Nothing like a great OOP sound. My favorite thing about my 345 is that.

TODD, FENDER AMP ON CLEAN IS THE BEST WAY TO GET THE IMPRESSION OF A GUITAR LIKE THAT. THE OVERDRIVE IS GREAT BUT IT MASK THE NATURAL TONE OF A GUITAR. IF YOU COMBINE A FENDER CLEAN FIRST AND OVERDRIVE AFTER, THAT WOULD BE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. THE DEMO THAT YOU DID WITH THE - 61 INTO THE PRINCETONE WAS VERY GOOD TONE WISE. I CAN HEAR FROM THE OD THAT THIS INSTRUMENT IS VERY FOCUSED WHICH IS ALWAYS GREAT THING.

Hi John am I correct in pointing out that the right hand is a mickey mouse ear and the left hand ear is the more refined style That is what I see?

Holly Bo it kind of looks like that in this shot! I think it’s just a little distortion in the lens. It looks a lot more symmetrical in the pictures on my website. Thanks for watching HB!

True Vintage Guitar ahaha! My grandpa had a 1960 with a sideways vibrola and I’m on the lookout for it. He played it in all of the bars around Dayton Ohio in the 60s and all around the east coast. He lost it to a pawn shop to pay bills in the early 1970s.
