I've used this same wrench in an DAILY industrial setting ( Heavy machining) since 1994. I bought it as new old stock. Its as nice mechanically now as when it was new. As I Grow older I've made the decision to replace my Chinese junker tools with decent quality tools. I have since bought a complete set of vintage 4"-12" proto adjustable wrenches for use at home. I restore old Jeep as a hobby. I do have a new production USA made proto 12" wrench as a back up at my job. It is a very nice quality made unit. So even their new USA made adjustable wrenches are nice..

Proto brand tools are good quality tools. I have a full set of Proto sockets, combo wrenches & crescent type wrenches. (That's the adjustable wrench that you just restored. Crescent is a tool brand name also.) Edit: A piece of advice... Don't paint frequently used hand tools. The paint will just wear off & it will look terrible... I tried to get my son to understand that concept because he kept painting my hand tools gold... 😂

@@Sigil777 I don’t remember how many hours I worked on this exactly, but I think I worked on it for about two weeks in total. With filming and cutting the video. But not every day, since I am doing this as a hobby and have to much to do with the university
