I don't know much and I'd love to know more! Possibly ceramic, but they are lighter than I would expect. Most of them look like they were painted with watercolor. I've never seen something like this before. I'm wondering of they could be made of a lightweight air dry clay, maybe cold porcelain. I might sacrifice one and see what I can learn about it: how easily it breaks, whether it is water-soluble, if the color fades when put in water, etc. But they are so pretty and I really don't want to destroy any, LOL. I'll let you know if I find anything more concrete, for sure.
