Imagine Your Young Son there getting set up correctly to make You look like pro level to Your grandkids?? I learned the off set of the rear tires makes a difference. Essentially witch side you mount the tires in back will bring the width of the rear tires in or out. Mine with valve stems facing inward makes the width of my rear tires 3" more narrow thus more areo dynamic and faster. Not sure about the z's i have the 225dr..

Quadracer's clutch was slipping like crazy in that last race. Every time you shifted, it just immediately redlined. Right at the 7:59-8:00 min mark, you shift and it immediately revs to the moon like it was already in 6th gear. Then at 8:04, you shift again and it actually sounds like it went into a higher gear. Maybe the extra rider weight is just enough to cause the slipping?

Kid is a bit lighter but the big difference, he is short shifting sooner and staying in the meat of the 250 powerband!. TMD is over reving (screaming) both bikes resulting in much slower times.

I'll take that advice. Here's the difference, he got to learn to ride on these 2 strokes. I never rode one till I was 40 years old! I only dreamed about them back then... no money to buy. So my riding 4 stoke habits die hard.

Weight is definitely a major difference on ATVs. Dad you have to start shifting alot sooner. You're riding out each gear way past the power curve.

Every 100 pounds equals out to 6.38 HP lost or gained when it comes to the weight/HP ratio... That looked to be the difference in these races, I would imagine the 3 wheeler is slightly lighter too...

I'm in more awe and wow about the tri-z that is so nostalgic that is so 86 that is so clean that is so beautiful it's so rare you don't see hardly any of those around and the only reason I don't have so much ooh and all about the quadracer 250 is because I have one identical and it's in mint condition and it is stock all the way down to the tires exactly like your son's bone stock just beautiful anyways okay let me enjoy the race I got my money on the tri-z though those things bats out of hell

Now a serious question for the kid since the kid knows how to ride and I trust him more than the father at this point after witnessing the driving skills okay so youngster I want to know which bike did you think had more torque and more top in and just the difference was between the lt250 Quad Racer and the tri-z 250 which one did you think was faster and which one do you think had more bottoman which one had more top in or did one just blow the other one out of the water on both top and bottom end and was faster so give me your views on this thank you sir

Ok this Jack the maple dude Jr. I would honestly say the tri-z is faster. It beats it of the line as long as you don't wheelie. It would always beat the quadracer of the line. It has more torque and they are very comparable in top Speed like super close so that is my opinion as always I am the better driver. Haven't a series of racing to my dad yet hut yes tri-z on top.
