I have a gigantic Barbie collection from childhood and now all in Beautiful condition! These commercials are SO VERY WONDERFUL AND SWELL!

When I started watching this, I didn't realize it was the BEST compilation I've ever seen !!!!! I *wish* I'd saved my Barbies, Kens, clothes, houses, etc. from the 60's and 70's !!!!

Yes she does ❤ I still have my Barbie that my late grandfather gave me as a gift when I was 4 in 1991. She’s the only thing I have to remember him by. I keep her on a shelf in my room where I can always see her 😊

I had the early 60’s Barbie that had a hair style like Jackie Kennedy. My mom sewed a huge wardrobe for her which I swapped with a neighbor girl for store bought clothes. My mom made me get them all back. I am 64. I still have most of them. I traded that doll in at Arlans department store for a twist and turn Barbie. Our Barbies were special because we didn’t have 100 of them altho I did have a Ken also with handmade clothes.

Mattel in the 1960s made a lot of Merchandise of Barbie midge and ken like hats wallets sewing patterns and Knitting kits and Embroidery kit and even Records and much more

Back then they were very cute pretty looking dolls and hands down 60s 70s 80s and 90s Barbies were the best ones of all 00s 10s 20s Barbies are not!

80 cents to $1.40 in 1964...would that be $80 to $140 in 2023 values? Those well made clothes were expensive relative to average weekly earnings back in the day.

Not quite, it’s by the factor of ~10. So $1.40 would be about $14 these days.
