Vintage Bell and Howell Model 457a 8mm Projector Operation DEMO

These vintage Bell and Howell Model 400 series projectors are common and very reliable dual 8mm film projectors (they can project both Super or Standard 8mm films). They're solidly built with a metal base, frame, and case. They are silent film projectors (typical of early vintage home equipment). They are great for home movies and simple to operate.

i have a Bell and Howell super 8 projector. Everything works. However the image is dim and not clear. Barely able to make out any image, I have used the focus on the lens and got it clear as I could but still the same. Any suggestion what I could do thanks

Hello, do you have, any lens cleaner? Maybe that will help. Take, the lens out, of the projector. And, put a few drops, on the lens Starting with the front side with a Circular motion after that, go to the backside of the lens with a few Drops of lens cleaner with a circular motion oh your going to need lens tissues to go with the lens cleaner. If, that doesn't work Try, cleaning the film, gate with Some Q-tips & some rubbing alcohol, front & back in the hole And, you tried all, that work Try a new bulb !!
