Vintage Bike and Car Collector in Madurai || Old is Gold

If you love #motorcycles, the lure and appeal of the bike seem almost overpowering. While different enthusiasts love them for different reasons, most have a pretty well-formed opinion about which manufacturer (or even model) is the “best” one.
Some motorcycle lovers steer clear of the modern-day bike with its high-tech features and state-of-the-art creature comforts. Instead, they prefer older motorcycles, that breed of bikes that provides a throwback to simpler times.
When it comes to talking about these bikes, you may toss out such terms as #classic or #vintage or even #antique But what makes a motorcycle fall into one of these categories? The answer is not as simple as you might think.
Just as with cars, the definition of what constitutes a classic or vintage motorcycle varies from one part of the world to the next. However, unlike cars, the definition is not always set in stone.
**Scrappage Policy update on vintage cars and bikes***
The upcoming Vehicle Scrappage policy has brought about jitters in the vintage and classic car and bike communities of India. These old jalopies are cherished and are prized possessions of their owners. Some of these cars and bikes have won accolades in international Concours events like Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and Cartier Concours d'Elegance. Some of these vehicles also belonged to the erstwhile kings and royalty of India and contribute to India’s rich history as well. On the other hand, there are classic cars which are slightly newer and faster as well. These vehicles demand respect and #scrapping them would be nothing short of murdering Indian automobile history. So it comes as a sense of relief when Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari recently said that vintage cars will not be affected by the upcoming Vehicle #Scrappagepolicy. But this leaves a lot of questions to be answered.
