Vintage booth update and tour

Some of you have asked for an update and tour of my new booth space. So here we go. Join me while I spruce things up at bit and give you a short tour of my new booth space at Antiques at Gresham Lake antique mall in Raleigh, NC.

Your booth looks good and what a great location! Having a booth always looks like fun to me…maybe one day I’ll try it. You may want to consider putting more of your colored glass pieces on the window shelf so the light coming through really shows them off.

I have been at two other antique malls in the past and this one by far is the best. I think it has a lot to do with the owners and the folks that work there. They are wonderful. I will move things around from time to time, so I will have to try more colored glass pieces in the window. Thanks. Hugs.

Your new booth space is great so much room for more.😊 A few suggestions, using fairy lights in some places and dollies under some items for softness. I would hang the scarfs on hangers, so you can see the design.

Just joined your channel. I love it. I once had a double booth right outside of Chattanooga TN. The owner gave me some great advice which I hope you will not mind me sharing. He told me to sell more, don’t over crowd and put the bright colored things in the window. Once I did that I couldn’t keep enough art glass in my booth. LOL! Fond memories for sure. Ask your owner if they have a way to email what sold every day to you. My mall has this and charges us 7.00 a month but its worth it to know what sold each day. The report also shows 7 day and monthly also. Well worth the 7.00 !

We go to a website every night where the mall posts daily sales. We can only access our own sales, not the whole mal. Waiting to see what I possibly sold each day is one of the highlights of my day.

Hi Debbie. You are right, I did lower my voice when I was in the mall. I felt very self conscious about filming there when there were people around. I guess I need to get over that. Hopefully whenever I do another booth tour, you will be able to hear me better.

Your booth is inviting....I think I would enjoy having a booth but it seems so pricey to rent the space. Wish I could split one with someone like Nicole Northgarden and Clay Rammage do.

Sometimes making rent can be a little anxiety provoking, but I like the idea that the booth, for better or worse is all mine. I enjoy it and it really gives me something to look forward to working on. Hugs.

I priced that at $25 mostly because I am hoping it won't sell. Everything in my booth is priced, but the items that I really want to keep for display I price high in hopes that no one will buy them LOL! Hugs.

Not from the mall, but I do ship from home when I do thrift hauls, and someone sees something that they 'can't live without' LOL. I show my items first in thrift hauls before they go to the booth. Hugs.
