❤❤❤ that little green vase is adorable. I found a large emerald green apothecary jar at the thrift store at a two dollar find. It was missing the lid but that didn't bother me. And I just love how the sun beams through it and cast such a beautiful green showdow on my kitchen table. Just a beautiful and cheerful spring accent with the artificial yellow flowers for a right spring feeling.

Another fun video shopping trip! Hey, I got pretty excited seeing your green twig vase. I’m no expert but this design is rarely seen and possibly quite old. I believe the pattern was originally made by Dugan or Northwood; the pattern is Twig, the color is green opalescent. Congrats on a great find! And thanks for taking us along!

Try a place called Replacements Ltd in Greensboro NC. They sale Old and No longer made China, Crystal & Silverware. Try them out. They might be able to find the Sugar bowl for your Creamer. Hello Jeff and Amanda, Always a pleasure going shopping with you! Having a flea market and Vintage Thrift shop side by side is economy at its best! Was nice to see the warm short sleeve weather for a change. The pieces you chose were all keepers and the best of what I saw during the tour. Not surprising there were holes in the shelf space LOL. Is it possible that the very light lavender creamer (?) was originally clear and the light lavender color a result of long term sun exposure? Doesn’t matter, it was lovely and I would have picked it up as well. My favorite was the bone china vase or perhaps the vase with the upside down roots growing on it. Susan is quite knowledgeable about glass and she told me she had never seen it so it must be obscure/rare. That twelve setting table sure does come in handy! Thank you again for the calm and relaxing interlude you always provide , always one of the favorite parts of my day! 🙂

Thanks for the fun trip to see the treasures in Florida!! I live in the PNW and we have very few thrift stores anymore, and the ones that are here have sky high prices. Rarely ever find anything of "value" (vintage) in GW. I was almost drooling over that Dresden creamer. Unique small pitchers/creamers are my downfall !! Hi Jeff, great great finds. I really like that EAPG decanter a lot. Hey Jeff, I think that lavender "tinted" creamer is the result of the manganese in the old clear glass reacting with sunlight over a lot of years. I have a few pieces of EAPG just like that and the older woman had the pieces displayed on a window ledge for 30 years. The explanation of the chemical reaction is on Google and several antique dealers also told me this. I really enjoyed that trip through the thrift shop. Have a great weekend you two. :)

Thought I would add my knowledge about the 2 lavender pieces. They were originally clear, but when exposed to sunlight, such as on a windowsill, the manganese dioxide in them turned them into lavender. For sure that is what the first pressed piece is; the second pitcher I am not so sure. Some collectors reject lavender eapg and other’s love it. I love it and have a beautiful eapg trumpet vase in it. The color is stunning for Easter and spring bouquets.

It was interesting to hear that you do occasionally rotate items out of your home. None of us have unlimited space for collections. Is it difficult to decide what to let go of? Do you ever eliminate an entire collection? Do you approach things with a particular thought process?

I think you could have it in a cute dish under the dome ...now I called it a pate' I know foie gra is goose liver. Our pate' with chicken liver ...but at Christmas I had a wonderful almond covered cheddar cheese ball under it ...fit perfect ! ❤🌷🐝
