5:00 it’s either a ptarmigan or a grouse foot. I have a small collection of them including a very old sterling silver one from my Welsh grandmother. Popularized in the Victorian era, they are Scotland's version of lucky rabbit's feet. Originally worn on kilts, shawls and cloaks - they were prized for good luck, especially when on a game hunting trip.

Thank you for watching ❤️ yes I believe it's a grouse but being vegan it just doesn't seem right. However it is very old and part of my heritage.

Oh thank you for watching and subscribing. I had loads of plans for my channel which I still intend to do but at the moment I've had to move in with my parents to care for them wihilst still working which doesn't leave me much free time to do things for me or my channel. I just have to be better organised 😆

Do you own any Lea Stein pins? She is a French artist and accessories maker, known for her compressed plastic buttons, brooches and bracelets. They can be quite expensive but very fun especially the animals. 🥰

The Chinese tapestry brooch is very much one of those type that in the 1950’s you used to get a kit of a brooch surround with the pin on and piece of clear plastic and you did your own thing for the design in the middle it could be a small painting you did or sewing on material then put it together yourself so you have a one off design there 😊✨✨
