This was so fun! I love the rain hood! Why did we stop wearing (and making) such essential clothing items?? Need to find a pattern for one soon! ❤

I love watching these flip-throughs! Though that particular catalogue is less exciting than others you have shown. And those peplums do look like bum aprons!

Also the cape sleeved long jacket you admired in the first 1937 counter book video is sold as a pattern by Mrs Depew, and is named the Redingote coat.

Just letting you know that the astrakhan cape you liked was reissued in the same set as Retro Butterick 48 pattern 6411.

Thank you Tara for another enjoyable flip through! I did like some of the suits especially. I’ve always wanted a good skirt suit and this is making me go back to one or 2 that I have in a gridded pattern book (I’ll definitely need some under rigging though lol)

Perhaps you can find a monopod for your camera, it might take some of the shaking out of your camera work. 😅 I only mentioned this because you were worried about the camera work.
