What is the background music? Jimmy Smith? It's slick. Also, all the card stuff is great.

I also tried the card spray on some of 1955 Disneyland postcards. Of course I first tried it on the posted ones first and took the dirt off and creases. They look amazing. I was watching what my husband was doing and did the same for my postcards. I need to get the vintage kit for myself

That is awesome Kurt you have inspired me so much. I feel so confident on working on my vintage cards now I am hoping that I can receive more money for them for all the work I put into some of them trying to restore them!!! Keep the vids coming. PS S.-I’m going to need another tool the one that you use for corners in dense

Would you do a semi soak the entire card if it just has a smoking stain at the top or try to just work on the top with the long qtip? Card is 86 fleer

@@joeymak2000 I know exactly what you’re talking about. it’s weird how they have a brownish rusty color on the top as time goes by. You can give it a couple light taps with Cards spray to see if that does anything. After you tap it, you can hold the card flat between the pads and plates so it dries flat and smooth. Don’t use a ton of Card spray. Just keep it light.

wow. 2 Questions. (1) How big a mistake is it it to just semi-soak every problem card? It's definitely becoming my go-to b/c it fixes so many things, & b/c I often find that other treatments that I *think* should work don't as well.... (2) Did you do anything w/ the dogear corner, featured in ending b/a, other than the semi-soak? That's one of the things that I had figured a semi-soak *couldn't* reliably do b/c of (what seemed to me) the need to be exacting in "closing the door" (as you put it!) If you tell me semi-soaking did it all, I'm even more convinced that semi-soaking might just as well be my default. Actually I just went back & watched the last video on dogear corners-is that Joe? If so did you do the corner work before or after the semi-soak?

Great questions. I do this method more than fully soaking Cards. I will fully soak if it’s super dirty, but this method works so well. I did fix the corner before I did the semi soap because I like to get everything square when it comes to the corners.

How do you clean the pads? Just warm water or soap too?
@kurtscardcare6 ай бұрын
Great question, just warm water and then I dry them
