Oh, thank you!! Yes, sadly, it seems to not be something some crafters or companies in this industry are addressing. And racism is a factor for some of these people. It is, admittedly, very difficult when you are a crafter that uses vintage illustrations and POC are rarely featured in them, but currently made products should be doing a much better job! I have had the fortune of discovering some vintage school readers from the 50s or 60s that are copyright-free that feature Black adults and children and I am in the process of scanning them in! I have plans to offer them as digital downloads in my Etsy shop. I hope to bring more awareness to this issue to this industry as my business grows. I'm just small potatoes right now! 😄 I do talk about it on my IG account. Thank you so much for your comment and kind words!! 🤗❤❤❤❤

Haha! I do keep some things for my personal collection: if it is a hard to find item or typically really expensive and I find it for a good price, I won't use it. But if it's something I like, I will either get a second copy to use in journals or know that I will find another one like it (for the things I see a lot of-- one of the benefits of buying vintage on ebay!--you learn what is common and how much it typically goes for!). I guess it also comes down to being good with having just one of an item! I know some people like to have multiples, but I'm good with just one of any given thing! 😄❤❤❤
