The last I see them in a catalog is Spring 1998, but just a double-page spread (pp74-75). They only show three styles: 4907, 4923, & 4924 and just natural grain, no mention of nubuck. All three styles offered in chocolate, birch, black, marigold, navy, tomato. Of my 12 Sonomas, the latest date is Oct 97. It looks like they used the nubuck leather in other styles after that. Wish they had made this line for longer; it's the perfect combination of luxury & slouch. Love your videos, they're the highlight of my week.

Beautiful bag! I love how the main compartment is on the side closest to your back. That’s something that always makes me nervous with wearing backpack style bags

Hi Michelle! Can you please do a video that has a close up shot demonstrating the different textures of nubuc? Your spruce duffle sac has smoother, less pebblier and velvetier texture than the other grape sonoma flap bags. And this elderberry(?) bag has those two textures in it. I would love to have a close up shot cuz i want the velvetier nubuc and wanna see how different they look close up on screen. Thank you always!

I would be interested in the sling if you do plan on selling it. You have so much vintage knowledge - super interesting. Gonna sub!

love it! especially the color! out of curiosity, where do you find some of your bags? I know you've mentioned you thrift a lot of items, so wasn't sure if that's where you find them? I'm a fan of trying to find items already out there instead of buying new, but newer to doing so! thanks again, great video!

So I have literally only ever thrifted a hand full of the 100’s of Vintage Coach Bags that I own. I would look more often out and about (I LOVE thrifting and antique shopping) but I just don’t have the time for it right now. So, I look online. All over. eBay, poshmark, Mecari, FB, Marketplace, Etsy, Goodwill Onlien & the list goes on and on. I use a lot of techniques. Let descriptive words to find bags that someone might now know what they have. Reverse image searches. Style number searches. I just get creative with it. I have taken a huge break in the search though. I definitely have FOMO from it however 😂🤣

@@birdybloom2 Thank you so much for sharing! I've always been curious how others find such great bags, and at times great prices for them. I know it's so fun to "hunt" for great finds and it can be hard to stop! Thanks again!

Great info! Do you know if this bag came in tomato?
@birdybloom22 ай бұрын
I am not sure! I have not yet seen one but that doesn’t mean that it was not made in tomato.
