Hey Nik.I've been subbed for a really long time, but I decided to scroll through some of your older videos just for poops and giggles.I was surprised by which was your favorite.I think the first one the germanium one sounded the best.Thanks for making the video because now I know which one I'm going to buy.✌️🙂✌️
@rilatti29 күн бұрын
Thanks, that's I searched! For my "Texas-taste" i liked the clean up tone of the germanium(NTK275) is the best because it makes finger nuances to live clearly. So you can change the sound just play harder or softer. That's makes your sound more personal too because anybody can't play with just your fingers...

Great comparison, especially the rolled-off tones (less gain) from these amazing fuzz faces!
@TheMicAmused4 жыл бұрын
Don't want to take anything away from those FF, but the rolled-off tones are basically a strat in the kingtone bluespower pedal, the fuzz is not adding much in that case, just cleaning...

HEY NIK! they all sounded killer after trying a few FF style pedals i have a jam pedals fuzzpharse [ germanium ] dunlop jimi BOG mini FF [ silicon ] and 2 ox fuzz pedals [ 1 germanium 1 silicon ] and my favorite of all is the silicon ox fuzz it is killer!! and i tend to like silicon over germanium because of the extra bite and sweetness and when you clean it up on your guitar volume it almost has a treble booster like sound BUT it does really depend on the pedal some silicon FF stlye pedals are really bad and harsh.in this video i liked the clean up tone of the germanium the best.

The fuzz debate will never end. These sound great. Actually, I still like my FFM2 or Mini Fuzz Face but eventually bought one Cornell reissue from Chris. Then I learned about the AC128 debate which I knew nothing about. The Cornell has AC128's. I told Chris just to send the best sounding one but it seems the NKT's are more popular. Oh well. The main thing is your playing. You can make anything sound good. And that Deluxe, wow, I wish I still had my Silverface.

I insist that thanks to you I learned a lot !!!!! just as a doubt. How do you set an overdrive after a fuzz? little gain? a lot of volume or the same volume as the fuzz? and the tone?
@theriffwniksevigny54734 жыл бұрын
Look at it as, stages The fuzz is going to go thru that it a sense, so, if you want a little volume boost, adjust the drive accordingly. I like to use a drive more as a boost after the fuzz, working the guitars volume knob the whole time

@@theriffwniksevigny5473 ‘Twas a off hand comment: I can’t use the gear but am not actively selling it. I bought this gear from a guy with a studio in his backyard years ago. Have zero idea of what $ is involved here. If you want to make a reasonable offer plz do. BUT I need to do abit of research on what’s “reasonable $” as well before I let rare gear out my door - Jimi could have played it, lol.
