The RCA blows the silicone out of the water. Way better clean up and nicer tone with him bucks and at unity up. No comparison for me. The 109 sounds flubby and gated at times and the tone isn’t as good. The RCA is amazing because it’s more stable germanium with a touch more gain that still has the clean up quality. It’s a winner. If you want an alternative to the white/red dot that you can get cheap right now in comparison…that’s the one
