Hey love the fact that you show your solo at the end of this track. Good example of simple, not flashy, listening to the music and complementing it. It's tempting for younger players to think that you need to fill every space with notes when all the greats know it's all about filling every note with space around them so you can feel each notes emotion. Top video and playing 😁

@ausher3 жыл бұрын
Ahhh nooo! Keep practising and you’ll get there! My advice is: - try a few solos playing just 3/4 notes of the Blues scale . - Rhythm is everything. - then try mixing in minor and major scales . So hammer on from a G to a G# , you’ll get a nice bluesy sound 🎸🎶

@@ausher I will thx I notice my licks get repetitive I know I need to leave more space between licks but when I get going I lose track of the chord changes any suggestions
@ausher3 жыл бұрын
@@michaelruggia476 Try out a few times around playing the notes of the chords, 'arpeggio'. So... E major = play E G# B - just slowly and in time. Then when you hear the chord change after 4 bars play the A major chord tones = A C# E .(2 bars) then back to E major for 2 bars. Finally B major (1 bar) then A major (1bar) and back to E for to finish the chord progression. E major = E G# B A major = A C# E B major = B D# F# Once you've got this down try adding in the 7th for each chord too: E7 = E G# B D A7 = A C# E G B7 = B D# F# A This should help you hear the changes and flow with the chord progression more naturally. Hope this helps! Practise and then practise some more! Enjoy! Andy
