Hi, I'm not sure if this was a good idea. The motor will lose power under load because it does not have a stator in series and it seems unnecessarily fast to me, and I would put the switch on 100 times before it burns out. Huge currents will flow through it for which it is not designed, MOSFET switching would help. M
@taylorhancuff94019 ай бұрын
That switch was my main concern. It’s drawing a bunch more current now.

I have to say I find these corded to cordless conversions a rather pointless exercise but I have to say the way you do it is amazing I probably couldn't get it done. Corded tools are often like 2x the power of a cordless tool (doesn't apply to the latest brushless 36v/40v and above tools though). The motor in this tool has to be 700-1000w (my guess) to drive the hammer. That drains a battery in minutes. Weaker motor = less rpm = weak hammer. In my opinion it would make more sense to build a 100v battery bank and keep the tools original. Probably needs to be an inverter type though I don't think tools with electronic speed control will take kind to DC voltage.

afaik this style of demohammer was build up until the mid 2000s so not all that vintage. The Bosch GSH 11 E really moved things forward. That hammer hasn't changed at all since they started production around the year 2000. Still a very common hammer since its very robust, long lived and the design just works its very well balanced.
@Dmitrytln9 ай бұрын
This is only for DIY project. For regular construction it is too heavy and battery discharging. Also powerful motor is not shunted with diode, every commutation will overvolt BMS semiconductors. I think builders will prefer corded demolition hammer even if they need to bring generator.

For a critical part, in a single copy, it was possible to concentrate and remove the broken tap using the electrical erosion method, at least a person who can rewind the rotor can do this. Try it - it's an interesting experience.

При нарезке резьбы нужно смазать метчик. И сначала используется черновой, потом чистовой метчики, так как дюралюминий мягкий металл и метчик в нём вязнет.

Extremely bad technique when mounting a bearing (when installing a bearing in a hole, you can only push on the outer part of the bearing, when installing it on a shaft, only on the inner part of the bearing). It won't break the bearing every time, but it decreases lifespan of the bearing and is a very bad idea.
