Vintage Double Wedding Ring Quilt #3 - Long Arm Ruler Work and Basting pieced edges

In this third video I show how to baste pieced edges, and some simple Straight Ruler work. This is such a great old quilt top. I had so much fun quilting it.

I love everything abt the way you quilted this quilt, from the freehand flowers, to the wedges, to the melon shapes. It’s so beautiful! And thanks for showing a different way to do the pebbles! I think I have a much better chance of getting them round, doing it your way! They look like cute little pea pods! 😁 Idk if I missed some of these, as I stumbled upon you while researching wedding ring quilts, but do you show how you quilted the corner squares?

Such a pretty quilt top. It's amazing how the extra fabric seem to settle into place. I've got the rulers, I just need to get comfortable using them. Great lesson!! Thanks Tia. I look forward to your next video.

Thank you Linda I am so lucky to have found this quilt! Rulers are really fun as soon as you get comfortable with how much pressure to hold them with. I think that is all the key.
