The chemistry between Andy and Jamie is absolutely perfect for content like this. Absolutely love how they bounce off each other and look like they're really enjoying themselves! Keep up the great work - fantastic video

You know, for me, the nicest part of all the WW vids is the clear affinity and mutual respect and joy you both bring to each other (and CEO Rich’s excellent production). Cost of living crisis…. I’m not cancelling my subscription!

Great video as usual lads, it was great fun watching and listening to Andy and Jamie on how things were when they were match fishing years ago compared to now and seeing Jamie using paste reminded me of some pole attachments I found from yesteryear in my gear for shipping out paste on a pole rig

Forget the pole but fish running wild on an underpowered float rod is what my childhood fishing was made of. Well done lads that’s made my day.

My 1st main Pole was the Shakespeare Lithium Gold which was like doing a Gym session. Nothing seen as funny as Andy winding in for England. Got to be one of the funniest things seen for a long time. Priceless Guy's. Fantastic Video. Cheers

Really interesting watching this. I went fishing with my Dad last week and he was pretty much doing everything you guys are doing here. Jay Lad saying not catching anything for an hour n half is exactly what happened, when I'd bagged 20lb.

I've pleasure fished and now do specimen. But I just love watching these vlogs. I'm hooked so to speak it's just brilliant watching these two😁. What a great advert for angling and just enjoying being out. What a fantastic duo Jamie and Andy are. Can't wait for the next one, and hope you do more like this. Bloody brilliant 👍👌 Have to also say camera work is top notch 👍👌

Love this, back when I started fishing 40 year ago you never saw anyone using a pole aside from the odd kids from the council estate with a scavanged hook and length of line tied to a tree branch, I still have my very first fishing rod which was made from an old tank aerial and a Mitchell 304 spinning reel, fascinated me now I'm going to have to refurbish them and take them for a nostalgic session

by a country mile the best video you two have done. this was brilliant, well edited, good banter, smiles all round and a mixture of different types of fish. Well done lads. why don't you do an opposites match, get Jamie on that waggler same baits as Andy and Andy same set up with paste as Jamie was on. that would be funny to watch

After 35 years as a fly fisher, coming back to coarse fishing is a massive learning curve, new baits, new methods, no breaking strains. Mugging, dobbing, and slapping. Holy Jesus its a bloody minefield. Aaaarrrgghh 😂 ✌❤ Bob.

Loved Jamie shipping back like that. When I got my first 12.5m pole (Shakespeare Master GLX Titanium) I had to ship like that as I barely had the bodyweight to hold the pole as it was so heavy!

Great video Maddest thing of all is I was laughing whilst watching and yet you two were miles better than other people then well certainly miles better than me and I still fish like that now… My first pole was fibreglass and it had an aluminium tube stuck in the tip that was curved through 90 degrees and the elastic was actually twizzled and dangled from the aluminium tube and the line was attached to it, I thought I was a professional
@durrantalan2 жыл бұрын
A “pole crook”! We all had those things back in the day! They had about 10 inches of elastic in them and that’s your lot.

I used a Mitchell match with "finger dab" bail arm, beautifully smooth reel. My first reel was a second hand New Pinto my dad got me from some bloke on the bank 50p including a spool of 5lb line, it was for my 12 th birthday, and I'm 61 in a fortnight. I then had a brand new Intrepid black prince, and my dad outdid me with an Intrepid prince regent. All my reels are shimanos now, for all my fishing. Great couple of videos, happy days, probably less sophisticated than we are now.

Compared to some vids when the guys are simply preaching that this or that is the best and only way blah blah! Oh! and most have the most boring monotone voices for their delivery. Almost like its read from a script. These two and their clear mutual respect for each other, and being slightly bonkers make it all a pleasant viewing. Richard is commended for the ever improving quality and keeping things sane! Keep it up lads more more more 😀😎

You needed a Mitchell 300 or 400 or match reel with that waggler rod Andy. Someone gave me a closed face reel when i was about 10 (44 yr ago) , and used to use it on the Dane trotting a stick float. Until a bird's nest appeared and covered my line with grease.

Imagine if you could get all the latest tackle, baits and poles rods and reels, and take them back to your 20 year younger self, with a full explanation of tactics, methods, tackle and gear. Your younger self would literally not be able to lose a match even if they tried. Also, I wonder how long it would take everyone else to catch up.
