I bet if smoke detectors were used on the system when the building was constructed, there would be a smaller auxiliary panel next to the main one (Pyrotronics FIU series), the actual detectors would be model F3/5. or they probably have simple heat sensors. I think you should share this with Glenn James/Old School Fire Alarms

@@neohistoryfan1014 Actually, the original detectors on this system were one lone Pyrotronics 3040, and they operate on a 4 wire basis (2 power, 2 initiating)

I bet that smoke detector is an ESL 445DRT. It’s a 120VAC 4 wire smoke, for use in standalone elevator recall and old AC systems like these.
