Don't you just love it when you stumble upon an incredible find like this, then some buffoon in the comments writes. "There's still food in the fridge so it's obvious someone still lives there and you're totally trespassing in a private home." LOL gotta love that, least it puts a smile on our face! Love these houses so much character!

We have experienced buffoonery, but haven't had that one yet 😆😆😆 There's no way that Slimfast was expired in 21, we had to have read it wrong. Looked like it was from the late 90's. We found food in the house next door that expired in like 07 and that little house must have been abandoned wayyyy earlier! Thanks for stopping by guys! 👍

The box outside near the chimney is a wood box. It most likely opens on the inside of the house. You put Wood in it from outside. My old landlords house was like this

You can always tell the expiration date of food by taking a little taste off the end of your pinky 😎
