On the subject of Dairy Queen: what an under appreciated chain! Among other things, I LOVE the chicken strip sandwich. That Chinese looks amazing. It's 4:20PM as I am posting this, getting close to supper time, so now I'm craving Chinese for dinner.

Hey man, this place is pretty sweet! They kept a lot of the original interior while giving it a new purpose, which is dope. I thought I'd seen it in one of your vids before, but it was the livestream. It's great to see it up close with the food rating.

The diary queen style helps the flavor taste better!!! 😂

Great video!! All I could think of was how cool it must be living next door! Sure, there were probably cons as well, but hey, the DoorDash fees saved would be amazing!

Not the best area of North Charleston to own a home… the bus station is down the street and that place probably has enough characters to fill an entire season of cops!!! 😂

@charlestonpinballarcade You're not wrong. But definitely as a kid living next to a Dairy Queen must have been the bees knees!

It's interesting to see vintage 1980s retail establishments still in use in their original form. Something uninteresting when new, but interesting today just because its age. It's akin to seeing someone driving down the road in a well-kept Chevrolet Citation or a Pontiac 6000. Something built to get the job done, but not expected to be used in its original condition for 40+ years!

@@Its-Fryday definitely built well! I’m glad the owners are still doing the daily grind and seem happy. Unfortunately… it will come to an end one day. Gotta enjoy while the sweet and sour sauce is fresh! 🤣🤣🤣

These older parts of the city are some of the best places to eat, usually cheaper and just better in taste than these expensive chains. This is my kind of restaurant very old school

@@crazyadventuresandreviews yea! It makes it even better that the same people own it, they haven’t changed much and they’re just so nice and friendly on top of the good food!!! 👍👍👍

It's on Rivers Ave., in a not-so-great part of town. I remember as a kid in the '70s when it was Dairy Queen.

@@clapolla yea, definitely not in a good location, but it seems to have not attracted trashy losers looking to break in. Just some recent graffiti and that seems to be it…. Even if they broke in, they’re only going to get some chicken and rice! 🤣🤣🤣

I'm surprised that it has been open so long and is still open.

They got that no overhead formula. Bought when the time was right decades ago. Chinese food, pizza and Mexican probably have the highest margins in the food game. 🎉

That plate must have been excellent. Never seen someone eat that fast.
