Hemmingway's was the name of a Canning Company back in the day!!
@letsdomoregoodАй бұрын
That’s cool. Was the canning company from that area? We were in Spain this summer visiting my Inlaw’s and there was this little costal town with a giant abandoned canning facility that used to package sardines. At one time it was the largest employer, but has been empty for decades. I came across a local artist who had done an etching of the place and I bought the original. My wife framed it for me for Christmas! Cool piece of art and a nice way to memorialize our trip, as well as a subtle reminder of a bygone era. Appreciate the comment!

Take a trip to Zeb Dean's BBQ in Danielsville, GA - thank me later - best stew in the world. Then, go to a little roadside stand called White's BBQ in Elberton, GA - cheapest BBQ anywhere and the meat is fantastic! On White's though, they open at 11 on Saturday and only stay open until they run out and this past Saturday they sold out at 2. Eat in at Zeb's, eat at a picnic table at White's.

I have given up on BBQ. I like pulled pork sandwich. They used to be chunks od pork. Now it is shreaded. I think it is left over pork and they rehydrated it with water. It tasted terrible. No flavor or fat. Old watery left over BBQ!
@letsdomoregood6 ай бұрын
Check out my video on the best BBQ in North Carolina! You can see the process. It’s still chopped, but it wasn’t leftover rehydrated BBQ. They added crispy bits of skin as well, which really made a difference. They also added the cheek meats of the head to get more fat. Do you like beef BBQ?
