.…used to holiday at our house at Palm Beach, from the early 1950’s onwards. I remember well the Gold Coast from then on. It was fabulous! I’ve just sooo many good memories’! Once house was sold in 1962, used to spend Xmas holidays’ at the Chevron, or El Dorado Motel, both in Surfers Paradise. Still had a great time with all our friends’ there then………

@@AJWRAJWR ……no, it’s not. It was demolished, & a brand new hotel was built in its’ place. Its’ address was on the Gold Coast Hwy. There’s an apartment complex now called by same name, but at a different address.
