can this be used for light to heavy dueling?

Light dueling but nothing higher than that. Since there is a crystal inside, dueling is not really recommended as it could damage the gem. If there was no crystal, then this would be a suitable dueling saber. However since this is a vintage Graflex, you probably wouldn't want to wail on it too hard as the manufacturer never really intended to be a lightsaber.

eBay,Ultrasabers.com I got luke skywalkers a new hope and Luke skywalkers return of the Jedi sabers from hasbro for $184 each and there great nice metal hilt and nice bright blades worth every cent
