I could probably get some luggage on this bike, but it’s better suited for day trips

That single carb XR350 was a great improvement over the dual carb models.

Honda completely changed the bike in 1985, fixing a lot of issues. Then after making this amazing bike for one year they drop it. Glad I got a chance to own one!

I think Jay Leno calls it a sympathetic restoration. I like this better. Visiting a garage with museum quality bikes, never ridden, is like attending a wake.

The bike runs good and is fun to ride, now it looks good too. I do need to get a good gasket set and ensure all the oil stays in the engine rather than keeping the outside lubricated. 😂Very un-Honda.

You may not even see this but can you please do a woodsy riding video. Nobody seems to have one. Love the look, and would love to hear this one run

Not a lot of woods close to me in Southern California, but I love riding in the trees. Will see what I can do. I still have a few small things to wrap up on this bike

Where did you get your tank graphics from? Did they stick? I have the same bike

I bought the set on eBay. It’s only been a few weeks but they are still holding well.

Good job, Cousin Tom Moudry! May I suggest you try covering your sensitive data with a piece of paper or use a video editing program to blur it? Have you tried some GOO Gone for any labels or similar material?
@TomsTinkeringandAdventures5 ай бұрын
I have used Goo Gone, works good with fresher adhesive but not great for 40 year old stuff.

I bought a 90 DR350 a couple few months ago and leave it to the spy algorithms, I keep getting fed suggestions for "vintage" dirt bike content. (Are we old enough to be considered "vintage" so soon? I've been enjoying your channel since though, so I guess YT/Google is only mildly creepy in this particular case. From a "vintage" Jarhead to a "vintage" Squid, keep up the good work, dude. Rah.

I like the DR350 as well. I’m sure I can claim vintage for myself. 😂 USMC, get it Devil Dog!

Do you ever ride in the desert requiring a paddle tire?
@TomsTinkeringandAdventures5 ай бұрын
I generally ride in “mixed” desert where it’s hard packed, rock and sand. I don’t just go play exclusively in the sand, a powerful bike can go through the sand without a paddle tire no problem.
