Bran, a few months ago, late April until almost July this year, I went through thee WORST time in my life. Not anything like you're going through. My husband was absolutely wonderful during this time. My mom and I are very close and best friends. She started hallucinating (visual and auditory), delusions, aggressiveness, inappropriate se*ual behavior, irritable, wandering at night, sleeping in bushes and in her apartment hallways, etc. It took FOUR hospital visits, getting her there was always a fight. Most of this could have been better managed if she would have just cooperated. Thankfully, the last hospital stay was for 2 weeks and she finally improved greatly! I am so proud of her bouncing back from this, taking better care of herself - I really didn't think she would recover. I am her only child, and she's single, barely talks to one sister and pushes away other siblings, so it was ALL UP TO ME to get her better, and save her life essentially. I had panic attacks daily, losing weight, digestive issues from the stress. I was close to being in the hospital myself. Anyone in this kind of situation, you are not alone.

She has a little bit of a delusion with an imaginary friend, but it doesn't happen frequently and doesn't upset her like it used to. I'm guessing that's maybe from permanent damage?? I never ever give up on you or your crafts. Anyone hurting, we’ve all hurt deeply at one time or another. A therapist once told me to imagine my hurt as if it were a dragon’s lair. Walk right in like you’re going to face the dragon. You’ll find there’s no one there. It’s always helped me.

So glad to find this comment. Because the Victorian era definitely loved Halloween. They were doing seances and everything, lol. The movie "Meet Me in St. Louis" with Judy Garland takes place at the turn of the century. It gives a decent take on how Anericans celebrated Halloween and Christmas. It's worth watching. I think people would be surprised at how much creepier Halloween was back then.

The cone is absolutely gorgeous. My only suggestion would have been to maybe dry brush very lightly with some gray paint around the eye sockets and mouth so it was more recognizable from a distance. You always come up with the most beautiful ideas, especially the Victorian pieces.🎉

The only thing with the 1st craft I would change if I was making it for myself is I would either make the skull gold or a fully glittered black thats only cause from a distance you can't tell its velvet, I would of thought it was styrofoam. I love how it turned out and I am sure in person you can tell its velvet. 😊
