I was born in 1961. We lived in an apartment house. I loved the Halloween decorations from the early 60's. Black cat, skeleton, witch and pumpkin heads with accordian paper limbs! These would be on every door.

You collection is awesome!! You hutch was like being in my mom's kitchen. She had the white & gold Pyrex!! She had the loaf pan and the mixing bowls in white with gold flower & the big bowl she had in gold with white....exactly like yours! The big gold bowl was always the popcorn bowl and the bowl she mixed meatloaf in...lol...odd mixture of usages.

We decorate inside and out. I don't just do our living I go as far as the bathroom and kitchen. Halloween is also my favorite, love the spookness of it. I love the idea of the spider webs on the lamp and book case. I also love your jacket.

Target always has really fun dia de los muertos stuff and I have one of those floral wreaths of theirs on my front door all year! I also have different skulls around my house and there has been a skeleton guy sitting on my couch all year (oops). I love Halloween! I usually UN-decorate, then RE-decorate all things Halloween. I add ONE new piece a year [OK . . . sometimes two]. I have added a black cat that appears to be hand carved with a green witch's hat that I found in Pennsylvania. My absolute favorite is a huge box shaped like a book with "Witches Spells" on the front of the book. It's for my candy treats. When you open it, a voice comes out, cackles and in a "witchy" voice says, "Happy Halloween!" My FAVORITE find. I got it at Hallmark a few years back. LOVE your stuff, Laci! 🎃

Halloween is my favorite holiday!!! I usually don't decorate though because I can't stand clutter (I do love dressing up though!) This year due to covid and my kids not being able to trick or treat, I decided to decorate so my kids can still enjoy the magic of the MOST AWESOME HOLIDAY EVER (In my humble opinion 🙃🎃🎃)!!!
