Vintage Jeeps on optional obstacles along the West Rim Trail at Sand Mountain/Sand Hollow Jan 2025

A small group of Willys Jeeps from the 1940s and 50s take on some tough optional obstacles along the West Rim Trail at Sand Mountain/Sand Hollow near Hurricane, Utah in January of 2025 during the Winter 4x4 Jamboree.

Hey Stan, loved the video and don’t feel bad you didn’t get up the last obstacle unassisted. I think you get extra points for giving it a go with a carby and Armstrong steering! As always ,I’m amazed at the places you get your little Jeeps. My CJ5 is running again after sitting for 20 years and I gave it a spray can paint job to give it a new lease on life. What lockers do you suggest for a 46 cj2a? Mostly on pavement….but useful in NW Arkansas

As far as I know, the only lockers available for the stock d25 and d41 axles are the Lock Right automatic lockers.

I ran stock shackles for years. I broke or bent quite a few. I just switched them a couple of years ago.
