Does your warning siren o off every day ? If only once a month,just start your fiming earlier, or after the designated, warning. We. have ours,go off,once a month, to assure they are working; it does get confusing at times,especially during severe tornado or other seasons.

Every pre-teen and 16 year old, who had a boyfriend received a heart shaped pendant with or without the pearl, sometimes they have the same size earrings usually clips or screw on.(which are hard to find now) They are more from the late 50 to earlier 70 Era. and when girlfriend/ boyfriend gifts were modest. Every one of my female classmates had one or the virgin circle pins. We also got "Here's My Heart: perfume by Avon. or Cotellion or YouthDew as we got older., Then Came the Timex or Bulova watch, with the Friendship ring and the lady with a poodle lapel pin or ice skates or Ice skaters, ballerinas or ballerina slippers or a lady with an umbrella. Fun boyfriend gifts. to teenagers. So depending on one's age or how many teenage crushes or puppy love infatuation we had from Junior High School to our Senior year in High School ,a teenager may have as many as ten.Of course, not too many were exactly alike unless the young men all bought at the same store. A set sold from $8 to$20. Now many of us may have had similar styles ,but it was an unspoken rule no boy gave the same style to another girl. Also we might give them back if we broke up. Usually, we kept them,some were gold,some silver, some a heart with the center out and pearls set around the frame. Some were double hearts etc. but if that one unlucky girl happened to go with someone's ex,she might get a used one.lol. but she probably was a year or two behind our class and didn't know it had belonged to an upperclassmen and she probably was a girlfriend to someone's younger brother But the gift of the time was a heart shaped pendant or pin(which often got lost), It was like a code or tradition. That was a safe gift and affordable for a teenager . There were some teenagers who could afford more experience gifts do they may have received a rhinestone necklace or tennis bracelet or ankle bracelet, which was sorta tabo as that meant in our minds sorta ownership and no decent teenager, would be owned until at least Junior year but mostly Senior year;eventhough most of us went separate ways. Oh to give anyone any kind of ring before Senior year was definitely a NO No! Class rings were worn on a. chain not on a finger. So hope you come across some more heart shaped necklaces or pins. I think little girls will wear them but not teenagers. Hope you come across some. I saved all of my heart shaped necklaces for my daughters, nieces,granddaughters; because now the young men give designers jewelry and bags which I,personally find inappropriate unless you are over 18/21 and engaged. I am a Baby Boomer so still hold on to some old fashion dating gifts. Thank you for your vintage collections.
