I agree, Joan was VERY SEXY to the very end and the funniest person ever. Very sad she has gone and it did not feel like her time, way too youthful and energetic

Fabulous monologue! Thanks for putting this up. I hadn't seen it since it originally aired. Loved how she apparently got embarrased by an upcoming joke.

I was fortunate enough to see these shows, & if I was with a girl, I'd ignored her for the whole episode. Joan was AWESOME. Again I was lucky to see her personally @ upper east side. As big as a star she was she would be very humble to her fans. The world misses Joan.♥️

If Aretha Franklin is the Queen of Soul, Joan Rivers is the Queen of Comedy.....or is godmother more suitable? Such a fast brain and an even sharper tongue. Incredible!

crazy woman- - - wonder, how much of th joke writing did she do ? : ) : )

She wrote for herself for the first half of the career. When she got hot in the early 1980's she started hiring more writers and by the end, Larry Amoros was writing the books for her and Fashion Police was written for her.

She also had a huge catalogue of jokes from her entire career stored in filing cabinets... she would recycle jokes to fit different eras, but she wrote most of her material. She started in comedy as a writer after studying at Second City so writing jokes came easily to her, but I think as she became a celebrity she started utilizing other writers as well

She used to be so attractive...BEFORE the plastic surgery.

She should have been loyal to Johnny. She didn’t need the money or the exposure. Johnny was right not to talk to her again. Johnny discovered her, backed her, promoted her. Joan regularly credited JC for her career and look what she did. All for not And I love Joan. But wrong is wrong.
